• SNOW TRIP SEPTEMBER 2023

    The Otway 4wd club had a recent trip to the high country & snow recently with seasonal track closures in place we knew we could not venture into a lot of tracks but we still enjoyed our time away seeing a lot of country that we hadn’t seen befor. Places we visited where Thompson Bridge, Walhalla (we were there on Tuesday so the train wasn’t running)  Thompson dam, Aberfeldy, Mount Selma (It was snowing when we where there) Matlock, Woods point,  Corn Hill, Ryans Hut, Mt Terrible, Big River, Gaffneys Creek, Jamieson,Mt Skene (Permit required to access )  (snowing up at Mt Skene was fun and snow depth was about 250mm) and a couple of tracks on our way back…

    The Otway Four-Wheel Drive Club was established in 1976. The Club is affiliated with Four Wheel Drive Victoria and subscribes to the tread lightly philosophy. Our Club is family-oriented with a strong social calendar and a proven record of responsible four wheel driving and community service. Our membership comprises people from all walks of life bonded together by a love of exploring Australia by 4WD. All types of vehicles are welcome.
